Yeah, i see your point. Also you can get spare parts for a normal pistion engine. In a rotary, you can get that as well but its really exspensive (sp?).

actually Mazda claims that it really had 930Hp but they detuned it for reliability concerns

200NM for a 1.3 NA engine? I'll say thats pretty good. How much torque does the Z06 have per liter? Guess its not as much as the Renesis. So in a way rotary's ARE torque monsters, but the engines are just very small so they don't have to much torque even though their NM/Liter is very high :)
