I think the disruption of space and time is precisely what this film is about. The grainy visuals and the insistence on diegetic "silence" gives the film a "silent" era feel, so that the music track can go a little over the top, just as in the theatrical exhibitions of cinema 100 years ago. But not then--now. And, again.This is remarkable work--bonne chance! |
