I was 13 years old when this song came out in 1979. Never had I heard such a dreamy song, and still pulls heart strings at 41. A timeless classic, anyone with a heartbeat should feel this song go right through them. Near the middle of the song still sends shivers down my spine. An all-time classic that every generation could appreciated. Take this on all the way in people. There will never be another song like this.

This is a nice video. But the song "Sara" is about Stevie Nicks's affair with Mick Fleetwood. When she sings "and he was just like a great dark wing," she was singing about Mick driving up her long driveway in a Corvette or a Porsche.Don Henley of The Eagles said that the character Sara in this song was about an aborted baby of Stevie's that was fathered by Don Henley. |
