it is said in the video, that there are parts from the 911. The caymanlike look only comes from the read fender.

I do beleive that they use some body parts form the cayman, or thats what they start out with, just like their other models use gt3 body panels, no other parts from the cayman, but im pretty sure they start out with cayman body panels.

It's a common misconception that Porsches and RUFs are the same thing. RUF just buys unmarked Porsche 911 chassis's (sp?) and does their own mechanical work into the car. They, like Porsche, have a fetish for flat-6 engines and twin turbos. So it's easy to think the 2 are the same. This video really makes me want to learn German, just to figure out what the narrator is saying. :D

sorry that brobably came off giving the wrong impression that i think its still a porsche not a RUF but i really was replying to someone else on why it looks like a cayman. but i do belive RUF is its own manufacture.

íts not a striped down bored out and backputted porsche its a RUF that means 911 chassis and the shell and thats it from porsche, the rest is from RUF itself!! it has also nothing to do with the Cayman
