the merc isnt overpriced, its just no race car like the viper, its a luxury saloon. its quality standard isnt compareable to the viper or any other american car, its just a thousand times better, anyone who drives a benz knows that. the viper is a nice car, but its a sportscar that isnt much faster on the strip. poor. the only advantage is the cheaper price. the benz isnt made for standing a chance on the track. take a slr or a sl65 amg black series, then compare it to the viper on the track...

people think what you say - merc is comfortable saloon with proper air conditioning ,comfortable suspension ant luxuriopus interior while viper is street monster with brutal power and can keep only two people. stop compareing incomparable things. merc should go with and m5 or 550 and audi a6

Viper has way too much power thats why it was winning. the real race would be any dodge sedan vs e55. Benz would eat it alive and not even burp!

The Viper is a much better car for this, sure that Merc didn't do that bad at the start but around the track, it won't stand a chance, plus there slightly overpriced. Bot are still great cars! But get the new 600hp Viper and the new Merc, not even close
