Didn't know about the difference between the UK and US television. That does explain quite a bit.The car is very impressive, indeed! Nothing electronically, even electrically, controlled outside the engine bay; and it's a pushrod V8, on top of that. Jarod Shelby set out to make a name for his company, and I believe he accomplished that.

Thank you for the compliment. Open minded people are a rare treat. As for Leno's concerns; that is the advantage of British state sponsored television. It appears sponsor true freedom of speech. In the States commercial television can limit speech by scaring off sponsorship. I watched that clip on lenosgarage I am impressed by the build quality. Gorgeous car all things considered.

I love his site and really admire the man for not only collecting some of the world's finest and rarest cars, but actually putting a bit of grit in their fenders.Also nice to occasionally encounter another intelligent being on the 'Tube.Bit of a shame about the American Top Gear, though I can understand his concern.

Thank you for the heads up about jaylenosgarage -dot- com. I will add this to my bookmarks when I get home. Whats great about Leno is he is open minded, impartial, and a genuine top grade car nut. If he says something about a car I am inclined to agree with his observation. He turned down an opportunity to host the American version of Top Gear. He feared he would not be able to give an honest oppinion of a car because it could scare off a sponsor. Nice to see he struck out on his own.
