The movie that inspired this song was at first classified as horror, but now many feel it's more art house...Les Yeux Sans Visage is def. worth checking out...the mental & physical agony endured by the main character is incredibly devastating, inspiring, and ultimately transformational. You will have to read subtitles..BTW, the chorus/refrain sung by a female that is difficult for many to understand is the movie title itself.

This song is about the 1960 French movie Les Yeux Sans Visage...which translates of course to our song's title. Apparently Mr. Idol was was so touched by this movie that it inspired him to write this song...and hearing this song inspires me to watch the movie again!!
