Man, all you people that say this version of this song is better are crazy there is no way that there could ever be one better than Hendrix's

How is Slash so great? I don't think he is bad but he is nowhere near the greatest guitar player of any genre. I also don't think out off all guitarists you could pick from diffeent genres to get the one greatest guitarist ever. If I did I would go with a million other people and say Hendrix, but I don't think there is one single guitarist that is the greatest player over anybody.

lets just take each for what they were. hendrix came along and did his thing, heavy and unpredictable yet full of that groove. srv came along, revived it all with fresh air and a booming, godly voice. sounds like glass breaking everytime. Fender thank your legends cause this advertisement is one that comes from the soul, the spirit soaring out of the bottom of it all.

Yeah a good one. He even would do that song live as a tribute to Hendrix and SRV!But still SRV's cover of this song is the ultimate best!

Check out Steve Lukather, he has a pretty good version of Little Wing, not SRV, but pretty good!
