Captains and VC would be able to deal with him no problem as long as they know about it. Also this is anime, you know there is some kinda limit. like if he tried it on Ichigo, old man yama or one of hte senior captains, it would burn out cause their spiritual pressure is too strong or something like that.

I saw some comments about him being VC level. I disagree. I think he's pretty strong but for the special ability to work it has to entangle the opponent. It worked out this time cause nobody knows that it works that way. It he fought the squad 9 VC again I think he'll get his ass handed to him just cause of the difference in power levels and the fact that the special ability is no longer a surprise to him.
