You can't justify your claim just because you own a civic because we all do, actually i have 4 of them, EG Hatch B16A engined swap from EF (170ps) DOHC JDMEK4 SiR Sedan B16A (160ps) DOHC Local Unit EK3 Hatch D15B 3 stage Vtec (130ps) SOHC JDMEK9 B16B (185ps) DOHC JDMEngine block doesn't show that the car chassis or body, the Vintag should, but funny thing is, the Vintag on your country doesn't show the body type either unlike the JDM's.

No i havent dude.I have a VTI.Its actually a B16AA VTI is DOHC! My father also has one.Your is an SIR though man because it is the B16A2.Im not talking about japan im talking about england.ESI - 123 BHP SOHCVTI - 158 BHP DOHC!If you dont believe me search up photos of a CIVIC JORDAN on google images which is an VTI! It says on the block DOHC!Sort it out please!I have owned civics since i passed my driving test.

This information is false, VTi in japan on EK body is a D15 SOHC 3 Stage VTEC which have 130ps, next is the B16 SiR which is 170ps. Do you know what is 3 stage vtec?

He will have the B16a1 which is a VTI and its DOHC!in japan the VTI's are 170 bhp but here they are 158bhp

look mate you have got very mixed up here!LSI = 1.5l 16v vtec SOHC 101 bhpESI = 1.6l 16v vtec SOHC 123 bhpVTI = 1.6l 16v vtec DOHC 158 bhpSIR = 1.6l 16v vtec DOHC 171 bhpThere you go sorted.And dont try and defend it mate.I have an ek4.Its a 1.4i with a VTI engine built onto the block.It is a DOHC like it says on my engine.
