This is relatively new Japanese ENKA which is traditional Japanese pop music, John-Hoon captures the nuannce of the song very well with Enka vocal and his contemporary touch. Lyrics of Enka reflect many sentiments of cultural and social conditions of working class Japan. This song is about a young boy who left his hometown to work in a big city and fell in love with a girl who works in a Ramen House where he goes often after work. Probably she is a similar situation as him, from a small town.
