Some heavier RWD will have a better advantage in wet conditions, simply because they have less tenancy to hydroplane due to their weight.

Actually there is a 4wd Yellow Audi in this vid! You may not have noticed because its so slow! I think its over 1400kg and has just 210bhp. I guess it does well to hang on so long to the lead.Oh another advantage of rwd is they tend to have 50/50 or a slight rear bias weight distribution. (Yeah it is the Camber angle I think, I am not totally sure though to be honest!)

Sorry I didn't take your original post in the context of other setups rather than wet/dry comparison silly me.. I would agree about fwd, however don't awd and 4wd handle better? However afaik there arnt any in the video so i'm taking it out of context again :) |
