Oh really and how many times did you have to update your vista? Not to say that i'm a quote "fanboy" The macbook air although lacking in speed and cd/dvd is a great machine that balances ergonomic design with new technology- as do many of the new mac. However, the air will never match the speed of your ( dell, toshiba, or other laptop) but then again it was not designed too... Coming from someone who has used both mac and windows, apple certainly got it right in the design aspect.

I have a hard time believing anything that comes out of your mouth since you fail miserably to spell correctly. However, Apple can compete with Microsoft. Their market share is increasing rapidly, while Microsoft's continues to dwindle. Also, the MacBook family is the most effective, efficient, and green computers on the market. That might explain why the MacBook family just won laptop family of the year. But, you're right, Apple can't compete with the idiots at Redmond.

oh really i know macs suck and vista is soooo much better...my vista machine has never crashed everything is hella fast and...i can put a cd/dvd in it...wow what a novel idea!!! apple can not compete with microsoft and will always loose to microsoft. the thin computer idea is great and that should be persued but the Air should have never left california. Windows will always win and Apple will loose.

ROFL Im a Mac user and i love my macbook but i will agree that the Macbook Air is really one of the stupidest things i have ever seen. Two thumbs up.
