maybe because keytars are the best instruments ever? besides, if you play piano you'd understand how much easier and more fun it is to play a portable piano. + its just BR (battle rifle)

I've always wondered. What's the point of a keytar? Why not just play a synth? Is it for easier access to the pitch bend or something (which Herbie uses extensively in this performance, it seems)?
