it is not a soap...Soaps are on during hte Daytime....this is more of a comedy than a drama.....its simliar to Friends....there was drama between rachel and ross, but it was not labeled a drama...it was labeled a sitcom

drama film is a film genre that depends mostly on in-depth development of realistic characters dealing with emotional themes. in this case the theme is comedy, so you cud say i was too brief, but i wasent debunked.

definition of soap: A drama, typically performed as a serial on daytime television or radio, characterized by stock characters and situations, sentimentality. if you think i'm wrong talk to doctor wikipedia. the big bang theory IS a soap.
