Hot Hot Heat has been around since 1999. The kicked out their original singer, Matt Marnik. They then added guitarist Dante Decaro who ended up leaving in 2004. Dante was replaced by Luke Paquin. Now it's up in the air if Dustin Hawthorne, the bassist, will be staying with the band. So they haven't "split" per say, but they have lost members.

probably because there a Canadian band.they are very popular here. (In Canada) Especially in BC, where they are from originally.
