Why does Johnny Marr have to stoop to mediocrity like 'Modest Mouse'? I think that he and Morrissey should reform and replace 'Rourke and 'Joyce with John Squire and Reni. What do you think? Think of the songwriting ability there!!

You can get these noises with pitch shifting and reverb!

Does anyone have any idea what effects he is using during the first verse parts to make those crazy noises? I have never heard a guitar make those noises. I know hes using at least delay, some kind of reverb, and a pitch shifting pedal(0:49), but there has got to be something else. Anyone?

Johnny doesn't seem to have grown any older! His guitar playing was absolutely amazing back in The Smiths days but now it seems to be even better!!
