have u looked at a car engine vs a turbine? have u seen the difference in the computerization? thats what i was commenting on, not when they were made of how early they were made. look up a RR 250C20b (the engine out of a Bell Jet Ranger) and look at all the "computerization" then look up a F150's 300 L6 and check it out lol.

I was being sarcastic in response to demonicpower08

actually, Mini jet turbines are very fuel efficient, they may be very expensive, but used in the hands of a skilled builder and pilot, they can go a long way. and they are way more technologically advanced than internal combustion. I.C. engines are only about 33% efficient on burning fuel, jets are much higher...I don't know the figure but the are substantially better.

Uhm, yeah, because you know, turbine engines are way less technological than an internal combustion engine. The technology used to make a car engine came from the 1800s. Miniaturized turbines weren't around until the 1950s.

very nice heli =) i like it very much =)

have you looked at the technology on real helicopters or are you just assuming? real helicopters have less tech that a 1980's ford pickup dude. no computers in some heli's.

3.I only once I had to buy a replacement part (tail rotor.) Tall grass is the best way, you can stomp out a "wheat circle type" LZ then go for it. I tried all the training tools and found the grass to be the best and is something I discovered by accident (No Pun Intended.)

2.I taught myself in my field of very tall thick grass about 3 ft tall and when I lost control the tall grass would break the fall, the only down side was you got some in the rotors but it always saved the chopper and lots of money.

1.Man I got one of these Hilos and they are real hard to learn to fly. Some of these guys get so good at it they can actually fly upside down and cut the grass and I am not even joking. The best and "cheapest" way to learn is make some training struts for the skids and use a relatively cheap RC because your going to crash no mater what and you will be needing replacement parts.
