majority of the price difference is cuz of the countries import duties on cars.. most commonwealth countries have about 125 to 150% duty on imported cars whereas in the states the figure is close to 10%.. in the middle eastern countries the cars are even cheaper cuz there is NO tax on them and fuel is cheaper than water..

dont forget importing costs manufacuting costs in the country and wtv taxes the government put on the automobile industry

pricing is done by manufacturer specs ect.a car for us will have more saftey and smog stuff which shouild make it less powerful heavier and more expensive.also it depends on how each manufacturer feels can sell at which price where.

Cars are not priced by conversions of the pound against the dollar.Pricing is done entirely differently.Not sure how, but it is. Lawl.
