I don't know enough about those incidents to say, but they are at war. these things happen during war. and the US gives money to israel because they are allies.

Yours was the first post i saw in this litany of rubbish hate mail so i apologise for not clearing that up. I have my opinions, and i somehow think the possessiveness jews have of their homeland is quite idiotic and childish. Yes security is an issue but i believe the inward nature doesn't help. And what's with the u.s. giving israel heaps of money every year? Why would israel firebomb the uss liberty? Why would they bomb the british and themselves at the king david hotel? To garner sympathy?

I can't believe some of the comments on here, coming from both sides, it's absolutely ridiculous. Remember people, nation states in the modern sense of the term, are artificial constructs. People saying the Middle East is only for the Arabs, or Israel only for the Jews, must be incredibly ignorant. Why try and create further hatred for one another, instead of trying to embrace each other and resolve your individual problems?? Simply pointing fingers at each other does not resolve the issues.
