love both cars, but lets face it, STI will obviously do better in rain because of AWD.

its all the rains fault

supercharger itself is more reliable than the turbo but i would say the the engine would be more reliable with a turbo than a supercharger only because of the temperature problems .. just check out the cobalt s/c .. you can get awesome gaing by adding cooling only .. with cooling mods a stock s/c goes from 14.5@quarter mile to 13.8-13.9 .. more power gains than adding stage 2 ..

nonetheless they are more reliable..but I hear turbos done with the right tuner are just as reliable.

sorry but supercharged engines usually get hotter intake temperature because the supercharger produces a lot of heat..

the driver just drives better

Just add a supercharger and the s2k would of done a lot better in this competition since they are racing forced induction versus the natrually aspired s2k engine..I know turbos make more power but they get too hot for long track conditions that is why supercharger is best for maintaining the integrity of the S2k!!1

S2000s are as close to race-ready as a sports car in its class might get, there's a boatload of reviews backing this up. Honda's done well by their design. FI, and chassis/brake tweaks upgrades only make a great street/track car better. |
