the rx7 does have a race tuned motor tho (sounds like 20b to me) and all the race suspension...so it does get closer to the gtr, i cant imagine where the tuner world will take the gtr in the futurei do like how they did the steering wheel on the gtr tho with the paddles attached to the wheel, stock doesnt turn with the steering wheel

the power of the GTR doesnt play a role as u said urself its heavier by more than 500kgs, thts 1122 lbs!! the rx-7 with 430hp, 1230kgs is pretty powerful. the advantage of the gtr's easy manuverability here is the awd,i think its been proven in rallying that awd cars fare better than rear wheel or front wheel even given the same power.the gtr handles more confidently as it has more grip nd control, its more precise.GTR's awd nd faster shits is the key here.GTR maks it lok ez n relaxed.

Nah, the RX-7 is lighter, accelerate faster & corner also faster. Obviously the RX-7 is a rear wheel drive.The reason why it lost in the chase is due that it couldn't trail brake by using the weight transfer to corner faster properly.I think the advantage of the GTR is the pure power of the engine. It will obviously win in a track unlike a touge.

very impressive driving. that rx-7 is sick, however u can tell the driver of the rx-7 is having to work a lot harder, look at his steering, nd how much hes having to work on it. This is where the all wheel drive of the GTR pays off, u can see the gtr is much more planted and less jittery by how less the gtr driver is having to correct the car. hes just pointing the car in turns and its gripping endlessly. GTR is very impressive

Doesn't look like the GT-R driver is using the paddle shifters, big disadvantage.
