when i put my b16 type r i made 191hp and 179whp its and the people that i got it from did not think i was telling the truth and the guys where i got the dyno said i had a freak motor can anyone tell me whats up with that

actually both of u guyz should know that though Honda claimed 185hp a healthy B16B will put out about 170whp stock hp is taxed in japan so sometimes what a company says and what it actually makes are two differant things, oh and 140whp wouldnt work out to 185hp B16As can ALMOST throw down that much at the wheels

dude i like the setup. im gettin a motor transplant and i dont know whether to get the b18 or b16. unfortunately im financially unstable. so the b16. id like to find out what you did to it.

Its never rated WHP from the factory...Just 185HPSo he was able to bump that number about 15-20hp to get the 172 at the wheels. Nice job!

They usually dyno in the 140 whp range. So they made like 20 more whp out of his setup. Probably slightly more aggresive cams with bolt on's.

Those rims r nice. Pretty conservative numbers.
