wugza, I was talking about The Matrix ;) I'm sorry I didn't make that clear enough. I know Blade Runner is based on "Do Anroids Dream of Electric Sheep?". To tell you the truth, I'm not that huge a fan of Blade Runner either, but still it's a great movie compared to that POS (I'm talking about "The Matrix" again, just to be clear :P)

Lol. You got it wrong, isandu84. Blade Runner isn't inspired by anime, it inspired countless anime. The book of which it's based off, is by the great Phillip K. Dick who is one of the greatest sciene fiction writers of all time. Who had already touched upon such concepts before. Just because you don't like it or seen anything important in it doesn't mean that it doesn't have any deeper meaning.

That's true. Ridley Scott mentiod it in some interview.. Remember what Brian's helper says in the end? "To bad you won't live..."And also think about the end-title music.. it's really evil - like the punchline of the whole movie. |
