Before watching this, I didn't think I'd agree with Oreilly, but I do. It is a complicated issue. Letterman is focusing on emotionally charged issues and not the reality of the situation. We did make a mistake and we're responsible to make the best out of it. The Iraqi government cannot survive on its own right now and a lot more people will be killed than not if we pull out prematurely. The same thing happened in Vietnam, not that those two wars have much in common, if you know your history.

You're missing the point, the point being that we were lied to. We invaded Iraq under false pretenses, sacrificing thousands of american troops in the process. We were told it was about the WMDs (based on very little evidence) when in fact it was about the oil. Take North Korea for example, there sits a crazed dictator bragging about his WMDs yet we do nothing. The double standard is glaring.
