Great Music!! In fact, this song was the number 2 song of the year in 1974 behind Seasons in the Sun and ahead of Redbone's Come And Get Your Love. RIP Bary!! What a gift this man had! Thanks for the video.

Stop all the shit about his conducting, his suit and everything else. Please!!! close your fucking eyes and enjoy the music..and if you have time imagine, just imagine you can do better..Very easy to be a critic but if that is what you want buy a mirrow..

Loved Barry then, even more so now. A genuine gift of music and still underrated to this day. RIP Mr. White.

If you watch more video,s of Barry,s orchestra you will see they have a conducteur,I gues this is more for show, the public wants to see Barry conduct his own orchesta, but he did wrote his own music, lyrics, had an orchesta ans his singing group the love unlimited, the orchestra can almost play this music without conducting ;) audience get what the audience wants ;)And it,s a lovely picture, i,m glad we have it

At times I play music with others, and actually I don't think about how I look when I'm conveying how I think we should play something, but I do care deeply about them understanding me, and how we sound. By definition Barry's musicians do understand him. I mean he wrote it, and this is his own creation.I guess people could say something about Barry's clothes, but again I don't see how this has anything to do with how the music sounds (though his suit is kinda loud!!!) Peace to you too!

oh come on; no doubt about the music. but the conducting is embarassing. that's all I'm saying. peace, bro :-)

A little unconventional perhaps, but spectacularly successful with it; regarded by many as the first ever disco hit, and one of only two instrumentals to date to hit #1 Pop in the US. Barry won multiple Grammys, sold over 100 million records, and was guest on The Simpsons! Several times! Moreover he continues to bring joy through music like this (a masterpiece, in my estimation, that will continue to be played centuries into the future, like this one! It was recorded in 1973. R.I.P. Barry.)
