precise work force management system for emergency situation

This video of the Italian national television shows the first on field tests of a precise work force management system for emergency situation coordination developed for the Corpo Nazionale Soccorso Alpino e Speleologico (CNSAS).The system, has shown in the video, is based on the User Terminal - Local Element technology that allows to have a centralized positioning based on GPS/Galileo enhanced with the augmentation of local DGPS or EGNOS.The prototype has been developed by the NavSAS Group (www.navsas.ismb.it) in the navigation lab of the Istituto Superiore Mario Boella (ISMB www.ismb.it).
