Wow things would have been better for him if there were water buckets at the end instead of concreat wall fuck.

AustrianerBisZumTod it may be hard for you to understand.. But some people are adrenaline junkies.. The rush of living your life on the edge is much more satisfying to some than those who live in a bubble.. Anything can kill you at anytime.. Why live worrying about it?? I drag race as well and I do it for the pure pleasure of the thrill and the rush of it..But don't say his sport is dumb.. The only thing dumb in life is not doing what you love.. RIP Scott you will be missed..

yeah, they're all stupid.
davidbcn822 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
I think more stupid to have that naked wall at the end of a drag track where you reach hi speeds. there should be something else.
AustrianerBisZumTod (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
sad, but its clear that you'll die like this when you're stupid enough to do this fucking sport. it doesnt make sense. why should i risk my life for 400m in such an instable car??? they must have fucked his brain out!
kissklassics (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
I've seen just about everything that can happen to a car in drag racing. Though not totally safe by a long shot, the guard rail at least had some give where the wall has none. At the fuel speeds these days, that's not a good thing.
VanOstenMotorsports (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
you obviously never saw what those old steel rails did to cars and drivers when they went under them or tumbled on top of them....k-rails are much safer and better for the sports.
kissklassics (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Besides the wall at the end of the track, the tracks are more dangerous with the solid wall lining the length of the track. At least with the old guard rails, the car could go over the rail and tumble to a stop in the grass. With no give in the walls, that makes a head-on impact much less survivable.
