i just bought one of these cars, very fast , comfortable, very stiff suspention, just avoid bumpy roads, although very good car!

Well that's a fair opinion. But I'm not taking about a 'tuned car'. I'm talking about what you get straight out of the box. I agree that this civic is comfortable and it does look awesome, but that's not what type-R's are all about. They're about performance and handingling first and formost. To say it's faster than the previous european designed EP3isn't really fair either because each new generation is faster than the previous. I'm talking about feel and handling.

you are truly wrong. because this type-r is faster than old one on the most of the tracks. and with new tuning parts this one will be the new legend. also it's far more comfortable than ep3 and dc2.

Yes this type-r is quite a disappointment from previous models. I've gotten the priviledge to try every type-r except the new sedan and last generation NSX-R. I must say this car does rather suck. The based it off of the honda Jazz, (Fit in Canada) platform which was a huge mistake. It doesn't really do anything all that spectacular. My favorite is still the DC2. It's jus the best overhall handling package and so very reliable as long as you don't dramatically mess with it or turbo it.

What they are saying is kinda conflicting...Originally type-R is not meant to be comfortable, but sportive only... unfortunately the market demands comfort. This FN2 is no longer a real R in my opinion. The best R's are still the first gen R's = NSX-R, EK9, DC2.
