Agreed, Catherine is curvy in all the right places. Renee is cute but more in a little girl way. They are both amazing though, definitely one of my favorite movies.

Wow, even as a straight woman, I have to say that CZJ is sexyyy. And talented as all hell.

Renne looks better in the coat, but Catherine looks better in the dress.

I love this song! Oh, I've been looking for one in the movie...what's the song when she's singing on top of the piano called?

The musical is only loosely based on real stories of real people, whose names were changed for this story. It IS just a movie, albeit an excellent movie, and is there to entertain, not to be taken so incredibly seriously. *lol* I think a large part of why CZJ's dancing is better has more to do with her background in dancing and in stage performance, than her character's background. So be happy and enjoy the pretty colors. :)

You don't take it seriously enough. You don't say someone is better than another. This is a movie which has a many takes as it wants to get it right, they have excellent Choreographers. If they wanted to make it perfect they would have. I say you don't take is seriously enough, this is true story.

Perhaps you should actually WATCH the musical then. :/ The show opens with the song "All that Jazz" which is just after Velma (the black haired one) had killed her sister and husband, before she got arrested for it. She was a big star and Roxie (blonde one) always wanted to be, so at the end they are freed of all murder charges and start doing shows. That was just the end going referring back to the beginning. |
