Motion to invoke cloture (limit debate) on HR 800. This bill would have amended the National Labor Relations Act to remove the right of American workers to vote via federally supervised, secret ballot elections when deciding whether to unionize. The vote failed 51 to 48 on June 26, 2007 (60 votes are required for passage on a cloture motion).

yah, reality suxeverything is a drug, if you think about it, everything has an effect on the mind, from sex to tv and video games, they are all a way to stop your mind from thinking and your focus is on the task at hand, like going into a meditative state, or running, your brain produces endorphins (natural opiates). Everything seems to be a form of escape from reality...pc

xxX...so true. Hadn't seen it that way. Buttom line...for potsmokers to want to use a drug that makes us "happy"...it must be becasue we aren't ok with our reality..whatever that may be. Which is also why I think when Dr Paul says..."you want to take marijuana away from people that are in pain?", he also means EMOTIONAL pain. For some...specially in poor neighborhoods, they use drugs to numb themselves and Dr Paul understands this is not a crime but something that needs compassion.

the thing about marijuana smokers is that they're all about peace, and they were the ones opposing the Vietnam war back in the 70's, that's why they are considered 'dangerous' by the government, because pot smokers will refuse to fight a war in order to solve a conflict. Violence is not the answerFighting will not solve anything'we' are supposed to act like adults, instead of fighting like kids, we should resort to open dialogue in order to solve our differences...
