fact, that was part of the laguna seca track and therefore legal until the following year when they made that move illegal in the track rules. learn something about CART and Laguna Seca before shooting your uneducated mouth off.

Fact: the driver went completely off the track and cut off a corner of the S curve while attempting a pass. There has always been a penalty for this action. It was the race stewards that messed up by failing to apply the pre-existing rule.
