you can actually electronically choose wat you want, at least most are that way, and its done in car, by a switch. pretty handy like

chrisdef15:the GTR's are only RWD until the rear wheels spin faster than the fronts. if this happens they start to feed torque to the fronts to help with traction. the drag race cars use an electronic lock out to cancel this (this usually works by sending the same signal from the rear wheels to the pick up for the front). its ok for a short time like a burnout but not so great for a dyno pull as things start to get a bit warm.

If you say so buddy. All the ones i have seen can go 100% rear.I know some are hydraulic so works differently but whats your explanation for all the drag GTR's then, doing burnouts in RWD then switching back to 4wd? |
